The House in Nightmare Park (1973) - Horror Comedy Film News


As part of The British Film collection by Network Distributing The House in Nightmare Park has been re released on DVD back in April. Yeah, you can probably tell I am slightly behind in bringing this news to everyone, just 3 months late though! Nightmare Park is a parody of horror films of the 1970's (when it was first released). I guess you could call it the Scary Movie of it's day.

Frankie Howerd stars as Foster Twelvetrees an actor who is invited to give a dramatic reading at a creepy country house where crazed women reside in the attic, rabbits get fed to snakes, and plenty of dead bodies are found. The humour seems to be the typical style of British 70's humour, whether this is a good or bad thing is up to you.

The House in Nightmare Park is priced at £9.99 and is in a brand new transfer from original film elements, check out the two clips below...
